What is Elemental War Clash?
Elemental War Clash is the newest entry in our fantasy tower defense series. We combine classic tower defense gameplay using pre-defined paths with elements as well as RPG and roguelite mechanics. The elements are unlocked by first summoning and then defeating powerful bosses, called elementals. The elements afterwards can be used to upgrade your towers and combine these elements to create more powerful towers. The RPG and roguelite mechanics represent themselves through quests to solve and unlock new items, items dropping during runs to customize your run and a brand new skill system to improve your experience as you prefer.
What’s New in Elemental War Clash?
Now you might wonder what the differences between Elemental War Clash and the previous two titles, Elemental War and Elemental War 2 are. Elemental War Clash started out as a remaster of Elemental War and as things go it went bigger than initially intended. So we added more features and improved a lot of things in general in the series. First time ever you will be able to play our PvP mode called Clash on Xbox. There you will have to balance your defense and offense as you also need to send monsters to your opponent to defeat him and not just build towers. We improved the map editor, added a new skill system and pre-defined scenarios that are short challenges that limit you to a specific map, certain elements and other settings that can be adjusted. And of course, also, the general gameplay and graphics improved a lot in the past years.
With dozens of hours of gameplay and plenty of different content to experience, here’s what you can expect with Elemental War Clash:
- RPG elements: Solve different quests to unlock items to improve your defense lines.
- Thrilling boss fights: Each boss enemy surprises with its own special abilities.
- Huge scope: Play more than 30 maps in 8 different environments in 3 different game modes or play pre-defined scenarios.
- Map editor: Create your own maps in the editor and share them with the community.
- Five difficulty levels: Face new challenges as the difficulty increases.
- Co-op mode: Play together with a friend against the game.
- Clash mode: Play against another player and balance your defense and offense.
- Global Leaderboards: Compete with other players around the globe.
