The Spine February update with a few bugfixes and easier migration is out now.

Spine 1.28.0 is ready for download now and as there was not that much time for development we more or less just fixed some bugs like the crash when running the integrity check, the broken upload of screenshots for developers and the missing download button for additional packages on the info page.

New is the easier migration. That means when copying your downloaded projects to a new PC without the metadata files Spine creates on download, Spine will detect these downloads (with a properly configured download path) and automatically redownload the missing stuff which is basically just the metadata if the project was up-to-date. So far that was possible as well but had to be manually triggered for each project. Not many people will need that feature, but as we had it in support a few times it made sense to add it as a convenience feature.

Spine 1.29 might be smaller again. We’re still trying to figure out some bugs. We added some more debug output, so in case you have that error with the renderer where it says on startup you should redownload it, let us know. We should be able to figure out what’s wrong there now.

Besides that we continue the refactoring in order to update the UI and will add a very basic Gothic 3 support soon.

If you encounter any problems, please let us know so we can have a look at it. Also try to provide as much information as possible like your last steps and log files.
