First month in our new office with our first employee and a lot of progress!
This report covers CyberTD, Elemental War, Elemental War 2 and Spine.
The first month in our office already passed and that was a great month. Working here is nice and we already had quite some exchange with the colleagues from Boxelware.
Also work with David, our new developer, was great so far. He is a huge help for CyberTD at the moment and we made very good progress there.
We also wrote a few platform holders (again) we’re not present on yet to try to get on there, so far without result. Platforms like Amazon Luna and GeForce Now, but also others.
CyberTD
As already mentioned we made very good progress on CyberTD in March. The last three bosses are almost done and then we can work on a lot of small graphics here and there to improve things and add missing ones. There are a lot of small things to do and still a few bigger ones remaining.
On the programming side we added the second biome (which still lacks a new look but already has the new gameplay mechanics), a new special ability available right from the beginning, deck filters for easier deck building and splitscreen mode is also working now. There were a lot of other small things we worked on and we also fixed a ton of bugs.
In April we have three major goals:
- Get online modes running
- Get streamer integration running
- Console ports
All of that is in theory done already, but needs to get tested and most certainly requires bugfixes and optimizations. Especially the streamer integration is something new for us and so probably not as functional as it should be (or just not optimal). Luckily David already has some experience with the Twitch API, so hopefully can check and improve that.
On top of that comes a lot of graphics work as mentioned above, as well as finalizing the tutorial and story texts so we can start translations and dubbing. Still a lot of work to do, but the finish line is coming closer.

Elemental War
Elemental War got a small patch in March fixing a little graphics glitch when loading a savegame. Then the towers that were loaded from the savegame stayed blue. That issue actually also still exists in Elemental War 2 and will be fixed there as well with the next update.
As already mentioned before there are no future plans for Elemental War at the moment.

Elemental War 2
The new Elemental War 2 update should finally be available in April (I know, I know, already said that last month and maybe even in February). I just need to build the new version for all platforms now and submit the patches, then it should be fine. There will also be some new announcement for Elemental War 2 Thursday this week, April 6th. That’s what hold back work on the new 1.1.4 patch for a while now together with the CyberTD development of course.
In April so far no work on Elemental War 2 is planned as long as we didn’t introduce any new bugs in the update and you don’t have any reasonable wishes for the (near) future.

Spine
The bad news is that there was still no new update for Spine so far. The good news is that Spine is set up on the new office PC and I worked on a few tickets already. Not sure yet when I will finally launch the next update, but I think I’ll do a little more testing and a few more improvements first as the Visual Studio 2019 upgrade might have broken some stuff in a subtle way.
As last times, at least mod additions and updates keep flowing. Big thanks here to all the devs managing their releases/updates on their own or at least informing me, when something new is available!
