Progress Report July 2023

Final spurt of CyberTD incoming and a completely different project on the horizon!

Final spurt of CyberTD incoming and a completely different project on the horizon!

This report covers CyberTD, Elemental War 2, Spine and Tri6: Infinite.

June is over and was again a very busy month. We mostly finalized CyberTD now with the demo feedback. We also have ports for the Epic Games Store coming in July for Elemental War 2 and Tri6: Infinite and more!

One completely new product we have and that will already launch in August are the Crime Mails. A little different to our usual games, but Sebastian has a lot of experience there due to his old company.

But what are Crime Mails? The idea is simple: You are a detective office and each month you get a new case to solve. That case contains 4 emails with informations and puzzles that will allow you to solve the case and as Dysturbia, the world where everything takes place, now entered the digital area, we can also provide some digital puzzles. And as with almost all previous Dysturbia products from homunculus verlag you can personalize several parts of the game like your detectives name, pet etc. More on that next week when the store with a preview goes live 😉

Crime Mails will for now only be available in German and you can already subscribe to the newsletter to not miss the pre-order start next week: https://crime-mails.com/

CyberTD

With CyberTD we’re finally on the finishing line. In June we fixed dozens of bugs, added quality of life features, improved performance and so on. We had two very busy testers and some feedback from the demo during Steam Next Fest and the Games Germany event on Steam. The demo btw is still live, just hasn’t received an update in two weeks or so now because I actually was too busy with the main game recently to also update the demo build. Will do so when I can find time for it again.

We also finished the trailer and currently are waiting for the sounds and music for it, so should be release ready in July and together with the trailer we will finally announce the launch date!

Meanwhile we’re still testing and bugfixing and adding a few more enemy variations, but we’re close to console certification start now. We will still continue testing afterwards until launch to get the smoothest release possible 🙂

If you want to give CyberTD already a try check out the demo on Steam and share your feedback with us. And always remember to wishlist and spread the word.

Elemental War 2

Elemental War 2 got a new update in June bringing the game to version 1.1.5 and fixing a few bugs, especially a random performance problem on Switch.

After that we ported the game also for Epic Games Store and that version will launch on July 20th.

Spine

As for the last months sadly still no news to announce 🙁

As last times, at least mod additions and updates keep flowing. Big thanks here to all the devs managing their releases/updates on their own or at least informing me, when something new is available!

If you still miss mods or have problems, feel free to leave a comment or join our Discord.

We also have another exciting news for Tri6: Infinite, but can’t announce it yet. Hopefully very soon!
