This report covers Elemental War, Project X, Spine and Tri6: Infinite.

Elemental War

Due to a little motivation problem and an annoying bug in the PlayStation version of Elemental War we still haven’t passed certification yet. The good news though is that we finally understood that last bug, so fingers crossed that’s finally done. We will know that in around a week from now

We still want to release update 1.10 for all other platforms as soon as possible, so in case we pass cert now we can finally release it next week (okay, on Xbox it depends on Microsoft, but should be quick).

Project X

We’re now on our way through a polishing phase for our new game in preparation for the presentation. That means we finalize the gameplay, add some missing graphics and make everything look and play fine.

The graphics side should be done in the next days and then we will start work on our announcement trailer. We’re still a little delayed in our roadmap, but hope to get it announced by the end of the month.

The April was pretty work intensive and also interesting due to that. We had several new internal test versions, fixed a lot of stuff and even though already the first versions looked cool the current state of the game is a completely new level.

As mentioned we now polish everything up, that also includes performance optimizations. Therefore we will run it on our console dev kits as well as they are kinda the weakest devices we have.

So, if it works out as intended we will have the announcement by the end of the month.

Spine

In April we release Spine 1.30 which finally added support to cancel downloads. We also improved some other stuff, but in general the visible stuff in that update wasn’t that much.

As you might have noticed during the last months our downloads in Spine were pretty slow, especially at weekends and in the evenings. That was due to so many players during the lockdowns and Coronoa in general. And then there was this Gamestar video about Legend of Ahssûn, that completely killed the server performance. So we spent a while to solve that issue and added support for new file servers and extended our capabilities there. That’s only possible due to the great support of our community through Patreon, Paypal and our new partner, Lucas de Letter [ParuSoras].

The next update will be released already this week, on May 7th. It has not really any new features, but solves a lot of issues. As the time of writing this there are exactly 23 bugfixes in the changelog and there still are a few things to investigate until Friday.

Next step will be to start the UI overhaul by testing some technical stuff. We will also try to improve stability and reduce the amount of problems people have with Spine. That’s already just a small percentage, but the goal is to solve as many problems automatically as possible.

Tri6: Infinite

We finally released Tri6: Infinite on PlayStation in April. The game is now out on all platforms we targeted. We still want to release a small patch to bring the other platforms to the same level as the PlayStation version. As we still have some small glitch in the game we want to check whether we can solve that problem first. Anyway, the update should be available somewhen in May.
